Indigenous Fashion Arts x Cadillac Fairview
Design on a Grand Scale.
CXC partnered with Indigenous Fashion Arts to transform Toronto’s CF Eaton Centre into an immersive high fashion experience. We engineered and built four massive 22-foot circular projection units, balancing bold design with structural precision to create a seamless, modern installation. The result was a landmark showcase that elevated IFA’s vision and captivated audiences in one of the city’s busiest public spaces.
The Build

The Challenge
For Indigenous Fashion Arts (IFA), the vision was to create a striking installation in one of Toronto’s busiest public spaces — the CF Eaton Centre. The project required the design and fabrication of four large-scale custom circular projection units, each measuring 22 feet in diameter, to serve as immersive visual platforms for IFA’s showcase.
The Solution
CXC engineered and built the massive projection units, balancing structural integrity with a sleek, modern appearance. Each circular frame had to be strong enough to support projection technology while maintaining a seamless design that integrated into the retail environment of the Eaton Centre.
The Execution
Using our in-house CNC machining and digital fabrication capabilities, we manufactured precision-cut components for the 22-foot structures. The modular design allowed for efficient on-site installation while ensuring each projection unit maintained perfect circular geometry. Our team coordinated installation in the high-traffic mall environment with minimal disruption.
The Impact
The installation transformed the Eaton Centre into an immersive gallery space, bringing Indigenous Fashion Arts to life on a monumental scale. By combining custom fabrication, large-format engineering, and on-site installation expertise, CXC delivered a landmark project that showcased both artistry and craftsmanship in one of Toronto’s most iconic venues.
