When Drake’s team came to us with the vision for the Nokia music video, we knew it would require both creativity and precision at scale. To help the client visualize the ambitious design, we produced a series of 3D printed miniatures that mapped out every key feature of the set. These small-scale mockups became an essential tool in the planning process, allowing the team to see proportions, adjust details, and align on the overall flow of the build before fabrication began.
Using those prototypes as our blueprint, CXC engineered and built the set’s prominent features, including multiple stages, a massive OVO Sound logo, and a 50-foot blimp that became a centerpiece of the production.
This project showcased our ability to blend digital fabrication, large-scale millwork, and creative problem-solving under tight timelines—delivering a set that matched the client’s vision while standing up to the demands of high-profile production.
